Tolulope Book Club - Book Fund Drive
The Tolulope Book Club came on stream in September 2020 to address growing concerns about literacy levels, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, and advance the fulcrum of societal growth which we have narrowed to include culture and language retention, unity, and diversity. Our focus is on the population ages 5 to 18, and yes this includes the population with disabilities. As of June 2022, the Tolulope Book Club has membership in 7 public schools (5 in Ibadan and 2 in Jos) in Nigeria. Membership is FREE. In September 2022, we would add on 6 public schools as we expand to Enugu and Ebonyi States.
To deliver on our core objectives, we are taking the bold step to launch the TOLULOPE BOOK CLUB LIBRARY, first in Ibadan, and it is our goal to see the TBC Library serve as the ‘ROOM of REQUIREMENT’ in Ibadan Community. The goal will push the Tolulope Book Club Library to reflect the reading needs of the community we serve.
On July 18, 2022, the Tolulope Book Club Library will open its doors to the Public. To sustain the delivery on our mission and core objectives, we appeal to all and sundry, to chip in at this opportunity presented by the Tolulope Book Club Book Drive of 1,000 books and Book Fund of ₦2.5m. Your contribution will advance the efforts at addressing the growing concerns about literacy levels and move us towards achieving culture and language retention, unity, and diversity.
To showcase our commitment to accountability and transparency, we have partnered with ALUMUNITE.
Welcome onboard.
